Developer plans project in Detroit's North End neighborhood
A three-block stretch of Detroit’s North End neighborhood just east of the New Center area is being looked at for a redevelopment geared toward small manufacturers, artisans and other businesses, along with live-work spaces.
Detroit-based Town Real Estate LLC, whose managing partners are Jordan Wolfe and Kyle Polk, is asking the city for a property tax abatement for 10 years for 43 parcels in the area generally bounded by East Grand Boulevard to the north, Milwaukee Avenue to the south, Beaubien Street to the west and Hastings Street to the east.
